About the Recipe
This recipe is Level 2 of my Air Fryer Cooking Series.
It walks you through the steps of making crispy and crunchy Falafel in an Air Fryer.
Perfect for Falafel Wraps or simply serve with some Pita Bread and Tahini

Ingredients
Raw chickpeas: 200 g (After soaking overnight: 450g)
Onion (rough chopped): 100 g
Coriander leaves: 40 g
Garlic: 20 g
Green chillies: 2 pcs or 5 g
Cumin: 5 g
Coriander powder: 4 g
Black pepper: 1.5 g
Baking powder: 2 g
Salt: 8 g
Besan: 15 g
EVOO: 10 g
Preparation
STEP 1
Soak the chickpeas overnight in water.
STEP 2
Add all the ingredients mentioned above to a food processor (except the baking powder).
STEP 3
Do short pulses and blend everything coarsely. Coarse wet sand texture.
STEP 4
Once coarsely blended, add the baking powder and give it a final mix.
STEP 5
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and balls. Balls should be around 25–30 g in weight.
STEP 6
Transfer to a freezer and chill for 30 minutes.
STEP 7
Transfer to an air fryer and cook them at 170°C for 20 minutes. (Flip halfway)
STEP 8
Serve with tahini and enjoy!
