About the Recipe
This version of Fried Rice known as Yangzhou is known to have different meats in it along with mushrooms. The main focus of this type of fried rice is that it has a light flavour and seasoning.
The flavours are simple yet it turns out absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
Oil: 1-2 tbsp
Mushrooms: 1/2 cup
Onion: 1 pc
Ginger: 1 tsp
Garlic: 1 tsp
Coriander Stem: 1 tbsp
Carrot: 1/4 cup
Boiled Peas: 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper
Leftover Rice
Light Soy Sauce: 1 tsp
Vinegar: 1/2 tsp
MSG or Aromat Powder: A pinch (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Take a wok, heat it properly, add oil and once it starts smoking, add chopped mushrooms.
Step 2
Once mushrooms release water, add chopped onions, ginger, garlic and coriander stem. Give it a quick toss.
Step 3
Add carrot, peas, salt, pepper and leftover rice. Toss.
Step 4
Then add 1 tsp light soy sauce and 1/2 tsp vinegar. Toss everything well. Add a pinch of MSG (aromat powder). Give it a quick toss and it’s ready!
