Choco Banoffee Pie

About the Recipe

Banoffee Pie is already an amazing dessert.
But what if we add chocolate into it and make it a Chocolate Banoffee Pie?
It becomes 10 times better! Try this recipe and find out on your own.

Ingredients

  • Biscuits: 15-20 pcs

  • Melted Butter: 4 tbsp or as required

  • Condensed Milk: 400 gm

  • Chocolate Spread or Melted Chocolate

  • Bananas

  • Whipped Cream

Preparation

Step 1

Crush some biscuits to an almost fine powder. Mix it with some melted butter.


Step 2

Caramelise the condensed milk by placing it in an oven-safe container in the oven at 180C for 90 minutes. I have used homemade condensed milk.


Step 3

Once done, you'll see it has thickened, the colour has become dark, basically it has now become our toffee sauce. Mix any chocolate spread or melted chocolate with it. Transfer to a piping bag.


Step 4

Cut some bananas and prep your whipping cream. You can either use store-bought whipped cream or whip some at home by beating cream, sugar, vanilla essence and a stabiliser.


Step 5

Assembly time! First, place a mould on a flat surface or plate. Form the tart base using the crushed biscuits. Press hard so it becomes one tart and doesn't disintegrate. Now pipe the toffee-chocolate sauce over the tart. Top with bananas slices followed by whipped cream. Carefully, remove the mould. Top with any other toppings of your choice. I made a chocolate foam and topped it further with shaved chocolate. It's ready, dig in and enjoy!
