About the Recipe
The concept behind this dish is that the inside should stay nice and cold while the outside should be hot and crispy. I personally think this is especially famous for it’s intriguing name and the way it is made.
A slight mistake in wrong temperature can result in a disaster, so be careful.

Ingredients
Cornflakes
Ice Cream
Corn Slurry
Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Crush cornflakes using a grinder/blender.
Step 2
Take ice cream of choice and make a large scoop. Coat with crushed cornflakes and cover with a cling wrap. Freeze this overnight or till rock solid or till temperature reaches -20C.
Step 3
Prepare a corn slurry using 50% corn flour, 50% maida and water. It should have a coating consistency.
Step 4
Take out the frozen ice cream scoops, dip in corn slurry, coat with crushed corn flakes and deep fry in hot oil. Flash fry as we just want the outside to become golden but inside should remain intact.
Step 5
Serve with toppings of choice like whipped cream, chocolate sauce and nuts. Enjoy!
