About the Recipe
This recipe walks you through the steps of making Carrot Puree.
Use it for presentation or to add a depth of flavour to your dishes.

Ingredients
Carrots: 3-4 pc
Salt
Ice cubes
Milk: 1/4 cup
Butter: 1 tbsp
Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Wash, peel and chip the top and bottom portion of the carrots. Cut into equal pieces which ensures uniform cooking throughout.
Step 2
Boil the carrot in hot water with some salt for 5 minutes. Once easily poke-able, drain and run through cold water.
Step 3
Transfer the boiled carrots to a blender along with ice, milk, butter and seasonings of choice like salt and pepper. Blend it.
Step 4
Pass through a sieve to ensure smooth consistency. You will get a smooth and silky puree. Transfer to a squeezy bottle or piping bag. Store in the refrigerator and use whenever needed. Use within 3-4 days.
