About the Recipe

This recipe walks you through the steps of making and storing Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste & Ginger Garlic Paste.
Each can be used in combination with each other as well as individually.
Use it while making tadka for your dishes, for making chai, garlic butter and so much more.
This can be stored easily for 7-28 days in a freezer.
They are extremely stable and do not diminish in flavour too much.

Ginger Garlic Paste

Ingredients

GREEN CHILLI PASTE

  • Green Chilli: 250 g

  • Salt: 7 g

  • Oil: 50 g

  • Lemon / Vinegar: 5 g


GREEN CHILLI PICKLE

  •  Fresh Green Chillies (cleaned): 250 g

  •  Vinegar: 240 ml

  •  Water: 240 ml

  •  Salt: 20 g

  •  Sugar: 20 g

  •  Black Pepper: 1 tsp

  •  Bay Leaf: 1 pc


Preparation

GREEN CHILLI PASTE


Step 1

Prep the chillies by washing and cleaning them. 


Step 2

Blend them with salt, oil and vinegar. 


Step 3

Transfer to an ice cube tray and store them in the freezer for a month easily.



GREEN CHILLI PICKLE


Step 1

Clean the chillies and chop them. 


Step 2

Take a saucepan, add vinegar, water, salt, sugar, black pepper and bay leaf. Stir and put on heat. 


Step 3

Once hot, transfer the liquid along with the chillies to a glass jar. Let it cool down and then close the lid. Store in the refrigerator for a month easily.
