About the Recipe
Why order from outside when you can make better-than-restaurant Lachha Paratha at home? It looks a bit intimidating but it is not that difficult. You'll get the perfect Lachha Parathas at home with so many layers. Serve with gravy or sabzi of your choice and enjoy.

Ingredients
Atta/Whole Wheat Flour: 1 cup
Maida: 2 tbsp
Ajwain/Carom Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi: 1/2 tsp
Salt
Water
Ghee
Preparation
Step 1
Add atta, kasuri methi, ajwain, little bit maida and water to a mixing bowl. Knead and form a stiff dough. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 10 mins.
Step 2
Take small parts of the dough, roll them out, add ghee, sprinkle salt, some atta (ensures flakiness), coriander leaves and start folding them as shown in the video. More the folds, more the layers.
Step 3
Finally, roll it into a circle and tuck the end part at the bottom in the centre.
Step 4
Flatten it out using a rolling pin. Do not use flour for this step but make sure you use ghee or oil, otherwise it will stick.
Step 5
Lightly cook it from both the sides first, then apply ghee and cook properly on a tawa.
Step 6
Serve with your favourite dish and enjoy!
