About the Recipe
I don't know anybody who doesn't like Kadhi and it is not at all surprising because Kadhi is that one dish which so soothing and comforting to have. This particular recipe caters to Marwadi Kadhi. It has no onion and no garlic. Serve with roti or rice and enjoy.

Ingredients
Besan: 1/4 cup or 4 tbsp
Curd: 1 cup
Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
Haldi: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water: 1 litre
Ghee: 1 tbsp
Mustard Oil: 1 tsp
Rai: 1 tsp
Cumin: 1 tsp
Methi Dana: 1/2 tsp
Cloves: 2 pc
Fennel: 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds: 1 tsp
Green Chilli: 2-3 pcs
Ginger: 1 inch
Curry Leaves: 12-14 pc
Hing: 1/2 tsp
Whole Kashmiri Chilli: 2 pc
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
Preparation
Step 1
Take a bowl, sift and add besan, curd, red chilli powder, haldi, salt and whisk well so that there are no lumps. Add 1 litre water and mix well.
Step 2
Take a kadhai, add ghee, mustard oil, whole spices and lightly saute. Add chopped green chilli, ginger, curry leaves and hing. Saute.
Step 3
Add the besan mix, keep stirring and cook for 30 mins.
Step 4
For the final tadka, add ghee, whole dried kashmiri chilli and kashmiri chilli powder. Mix and add it to the kadhi. Stir well, garnish with coriander leaves, serve with rice and enjoy!
