Ingredients
Methi: 2 bunches
Ghee: 2 tbsp
Jeera: 2 tsp
Badi Elaichi: 1 pc
Choti Elaichi: 2 pc
Javitri: 1 pc (optional)
Onion: 2 medium
Ginger: 1 inch
Garlic: 1 tbsp
Green Chilli: 3 pc
Salt to taste
Tomato Puree: 1 cup
Coriander Powder: 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder: ¼ tsp
Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
Boiled Peas: 1 cup
Cream/Malai: ¾ cup
Preparation
Step 1
Wash, pick and finely cut 2 bunches of Methi.
Step 2
Take a kadai, add ghee, whole spices and chopped onions. Cook till translucent.
Step 3
Add chopped ginger, garlic, green chilli and some salt. Saute.
Step 4
Add tomato puree along with coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well, cover and cook.
Step 5
Then add the methi and let it cook. Add some milk or water for deglazing.
Step 6
Add boiled peas along with malai. Combine everything well, serve and enjoy!
