Who doesn't love a good Tomato Soup? This recipe is exactly that! Make a super creamy and luscious Tomato Soup with this recipe and everyone in your family will keep asking for more.

Ingredients
Oil + Butter: 2 tbsp
Bay Leaf: 1 pc
Black Cardamom: 1 pc
Clove: 2 pc
Onion: 1 medium
Ginger: 1 inch
Garlic: 5 cloves
Salt to taste
Pepper
Carrot: ½ cup
Beetroot: ¼ cup
Green Chilli: 1 pc
Cumin Powder: 1 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric/Haldi Powder: ¼ tsp
Tomatoes: 7-8 medium
Water: 1 cup
Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup: 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice: ½ tsp
Cream: 1 tbsp
Corn Slurry: 2 tbsp corn flour + 4 tbsp water
Preparation
Step 1
Take a saucepot, add oil, butter, bay leaf, black cardamom, clove, chopped onions, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper. Lightly saute till translucent.
Step 2
Add carrot, beetroot, green chilli, cumin powder, kashmiri chilli powder, haldi and let it cook.
Step 3
Add tomatoes and water along with some salt. Let it cook properly for 10-15 mins till mushy.
Step 4
Take out the whole spices, let the mix cool down and then blend it.
Step 5
Pass through a sieve transferring it again to the saucepot. Put it on heat and now it’s time adjust the flavours.
Step 6
Add water to adjust the consistency, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, cream and corn flour slurry. Mix everything well, let it simmer, serve with croutons and enjoy!
